TERRORISM IN CANADA & THE HOME-GROWN TERRORIST
TREASON ACT & REGULATIONS via The CANADA CRIMINAL CODE
A more comprehensive definition of "terrorism" is needed in this modern era of social upheavals
Question : When is Free Prior Informed Consent established into the founding of a state nation? When does ISIS-ISIL or the Al Qaeda forces grow beyond the militia formations of the drug or armaments cartels. What "right" does any group that acts outside of the accepted social contract criteria morph beyond the criminal role; and, into the military union of state nation confrontation and formation? And, when are the domestic and/or international social protesters to be regarded as terrorists?
How do we differentiate between ISIL in Iraq and Syria versus the Original indigenous Peoples struggles in North America {Canada, USA, and, Mexico} as an example of how do nationhood struggles form into recognized acceptance in the world community?
When do revolutionaries become legitimate governing bodies?
In Canada - in British Columbia - where the arising political and commercial presence of the Original indigenous Peoples is affecting governance integrity with other nations - major and arising - there are the critical issues of "WHO" possesses legitimate paramount governing right through international standards {custom and statute} laws. Does the UN create these standards? Does the EU or Russia or India or China, etc? Is it military might that shall determine the functions of the universal fundamentals of human rights?
How is it established the USA classifies the Hells Angels as terrorists / organized criminals; while Canada refrains? Yet, both "nations" have defined ISIL-ISIS as terrorists. Is there any legitimate need to define any group as "terrorists" when most nations have established law & order via legislated statutes?
Media in Canada is more inclined to define the evident killer Michael Zehaf Bibeau as being an unstable, lost soul; who sought out help; was deflected into a drug-induced psychotic delusion that took away citizen Cpl Nathan Cirillo's life in a needless rage that could only result in "suicide-by-cop" ... and, which was preceded by the apparent attack in Quebec by Martin Rouleau that took the life of soldier Patrice Vincent ... October 23rd, Misbahuddin Ahmed is convicted of terrorism on Canadian soil and sentenced to 12 years jail time.
How do we encounter the organized criminal in a manner different to that of the terrorist ... where does common sense engage with the legitimate fear of loss of security of person and family in the immediate sense? And, how does the individual right and duty converge into this national dilemma of how to deal with foreign ideologies that are cloaked into the garb of alleged spiritual right?
When is one issue a criminal matter domestically and internationally; while another crisis shall be deemed to be terrorist?
In our global efforts to stabilize and socialize humanity as we engage in commerce and trade, there is this lingering problem of defining "terrorism" as opposed to the contexts of "organized crime".
Canada has joined the league of combined armed forces that will flush out and destroy the advancing ISIL forces - perhaps. But, the flourishing "criminal or terrorist" will survive and re-appear again and again ... for what end ? ... to seek out and establish commerce and trade as a state nation ? It is well to remember the Tony Blair embrace of Gaddafi following the $10-million per victim settlement for the Lockerbie bombing of PAN AM flight 103.
